Entyce is looking for a commercially aware Human Resources (HR) Manager who can translate people strategy into business impact.

From our Head Office, this role partners directly with functional leadership across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and Executive teams. It sits at the centre of shaping organisational capability, strengthening culture, and ensuring that people practices enable business performance. This is not a purely administrative HR role. It requires a hands-on, commercially grounded HR professional who can influence, challenge, and support leaders while ensuring disciplined execution of the HR agenda.                    

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to: HR Executive
  • Direct Reports: Senior HR Officer 

Key Areas of Impact:

HR Business Partnering & Commercial Alignment

  • Act as a trusted HR partner to functional leadership, aligning people initiatives to business objectives
  • Provide practical, solution-focused guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, and capability development
  • Use HR metrics and insights to inform decision-making and improve business outcomes 

Talent Management & Capability Development

  • Drive talent, succession, and development initiatives to build a sustainable leadership pipeline
  • Identify capability gaps and partner with leadership to implement targeted development plans
  • Support the delivery and execution of the Workplace Skills Plan 

Performance & Organisational Effectiveness

  • Ensure consistent and effective implementation of performance management practices
  • Support leaders in managing performance, including addressing underperformance
  • Contribute to organisational effectiveness through job design, grading, and reward alignment 

Employee Relations & Labour Environment

  • Lead employee relations processes including disciplinary, grievance, incapacity, and restructuring matters
  • Provide sound, compliant guidance aligned to South African labour legislation
  • Represent the business in engagements with unions, shop stewards, and at the CCMA where required 

Culture, Engagement & Change

  • Support the embedding of Entyce values and a high-performance culture
  • Drive employee engagement and communication initiatives
  • Partner with leadership to support organisational change and transformation 

HR Operations, Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate HR administration, reporting, and audit readiness
  • Support Employment Equity, BBBEE, and Skills Development processes
  • Lead key annual cycles including headcount planning and salary review processes
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices across the business

What It Takes to Succeed:

Experience that set you up for success:

  • 8–10 years’ HR generalist experience, including HR Business Partnering at management level
  • Proven experience within FMCG and/or manufacturing environments
  • Strong exposure to supporting commercial or corporate functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance)
  • Solid experience in employee relations, including representing the business at the CCMA
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain credible relationships with unions and shop stewards
  • Track record of driving HR initiatives that support business performance and change 

Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success:

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field
  • A postgraduate qualification will be advantageous
  • Professional HR accreditation will strengthen your profile
